Our Management Team

Joseph K. Lamb, Jr., is the CEO and Founder of Lamb Construction Group, Inc.,as well as the President of its largest affiliate, Gulf Western Roofing, Inc. As such, he is responsible for running all facets of both businesses. Joe started LCGI and GWR in 1998 to better serve the roofing needs of Southwest Florida. Since then, he has guided the companies with a steady hand, first through a period of extremely rapid growth that brought many changes to both the area and the industry, and later through a global economic downturn that saw many long-time competitors fall by the wayside. Through it all, Joe saw that both LCGI and GWR maintained the same high levels of quality and professionalism for which they have become known.

Mike Wheatley has extensive operations experience in both residential and commercial roofing. He has worked with cement tile, asphalt shingles, and metal roofing. In commercial roofing, he has supervised the installation of bondable, insulated, built-up and single-ply roof systems. He is recognized as a Master Roof Mechanic.

Sterling Desorcy began working as Sales Manager for Gulf Western Roofing in the spring of 2011 to help guide the company's sales efforts at it expands into other products, services, and geographical areas. Sterling brought with him years of experience in the financial sales industry, along with a solid background in construction-related industries.
